Back From Bulgaria
May 2009
I greet you
in the powerful Name of Jesus. It has been a long time since I have done a
Newsletter. I hope to get better at this.
For two reasons; to share with you
the great things that are going on around the Country and the World. And to
share with my supporter’s,
friends and family that their prayer’s and
finances are bringing results.
I
just arrived back in Texas on Easter Sunday after a long and busy trip.
Everything that could go wrong on the human
and mechanical side did. But the
Lord turned it around every time. Bishop David Fuller, Robert Galloway
and I
started out from Waco with high winds so the plane ride was like being at six
flags but thousands of feet in the air.
We got to DFW barely making our
connection to Boston and then found out we missed our flight to London.
We
knew that we would not get help from the airlines because we assumed it was
weather related (if there’s a cloud 1,000 miles
away your plane was late due
to weather). But the Lord had different designs. As we were getting off the
plane a man began to talk about the
breakdown of our plane in Dallas and how it made our trip to Boston late.
So we were given 2 nights each in the Hyatt Regency Hotel
on
Boston Harbor along with food vouchers. We arrived in Sofia finally with no
luggage and quiet grimy from the trip
and were scheduled to teach bright and
early the next morning with no clean clothes, or our shaving kits.
We went
to British Airways and they gave us $300.00 each to purchase what we needed. God
takes care of his people. PTL.
The purpose of our trip was for
Bishop Fuller and I to teach in the University in Sofia for the Elenkov’s and
preach in the Church’s there.
I taught the first day by myself, Six and one
half hours. This was a good way to get broke in. It went beautifully. On the
first day I told the students
how God had delivered me from four packs of
cigarettes a day when I came to the Lord and this inspired a former Muslim to be
delivered
and he had not smoked when we left Bulgaria. One woman was
scheduled for Surgery with nine problems in her body and constant pain.
The
next morning after Bishop Fuller and I laid hands on her and the Lord honored
his Word, she came back the next morning with no pain
and no evidence of
illness. A pastor told me that as he arrived at my first session he had all
Intentions of quitting the ministry
, but after the class that day he was
committed and excited to not only stay in the ministry but to better himself in
prayer
and the Word. To God be the Glory.
There are so many things that
happened that it would take another newsletter. But I wanted to get something to
you to show you
that your prayer’s and support are not in vain. My next trip
is tentatively scheduled for June to go back to Poland.
They have been
desperately requesting we come back; it has been close to three years. They are
growing and adding Churches.
Poland was my first International trip and since
that time I have preached in ten nations. Thank God!
Just a side
note to say that many of you support Bishop Vasil Elenkov in raising funds to
pay for the University Building.
I just want you to know that he lives very
frugally and has done an awesome work there.
Please continue your support of
him. They are graduating students all the time and many of them will go into
harm’s way to preach the Gospel.

This is part of my class. The
guy leaning on my shoulder is Yonka. He is a former Muslim that was feared. He
is Turkish.
He is also the one that was delivered from Cigarettes.
The
lady on the left of me as you face this picture was the one healed of nine
ailments in her body.
The tall man in the back is the one that was going to
quit the ministry. They are precious and will always be in my prayers.
Sweetwater, Revival
After
returning from Bulgaria I went to Sweetwater, Texas, to minister in a Fellowship
Meeting and Revival Services.
It was powerful. My dear friend and Pastor
James Thompson hadrecently passed away and his Son
Jeramy had been voted in as Pastor.
This is an exceptional young man in people skills and anointing. The
services flowed and the Spirit of the Lord moved.
We had a number of young
people filled with the Holy Ghost.
One dear Sister in the congregation
had suffered with Lupus for 50 years and wore leg braces. She came to the Altar
for one thing but as I prayed,
I prayed for her healing. She told me later I
didn’t come up for healing and was puzzled by your prayer but God knew. He
healed her.
The next day she came in and said “ I stayed up all night
because my body was in shock, I have had pain everyday for 50 years and my body
didn’t
know how to react to being pain free. "She took her leg braces off
that night and was walking very well the next day. To God be the
Glory.
Poland
Bishop
David Fuller and I are preparing to travel to Poland to visit new Churches and
Churches we have visited before
on two other occasions. Please pray and if
God leads you to send support it would be used for this trip.
As many of you
know most of our trips are financed by our own finances as well as faithful
supporters.
God will make a way for us to go; we have total confidence in
that. However, if
you want to enter into this labor with us God
will put it to your credit. By
all means pray for us.
Blessings
