It is my honor to write to you of the latest news from Sonny Cathey Evangelistic Association, Inc. In preparation for the upcoming 36th Annual Apostolic World Christian
Fellowship (AWCF) Conference in Evansville, IN, I have been very busy answering emails and sending out invitation letters to our foreign delegates. Their annual participation each year makes our conference very unique. We are experiencing a great excitement because we feel that this year's conference will springboard us to a new level of service. We have a great line-up of speakers, including Kenneth Phillips, Jonathan Suber, Dr. Mike Simons, Teklemariam Gezahagne (from Ethiopia), and many others. I am so glad to be a part of this great fellowship of the AWCF, serving as the Secretary of International Ministries under the leadership of Bishop David M. Fuller.

I have been resting my body for the last 3 weekends. I did go to Georgetown, Texas, to preach for Pastor Bob Sharp at Church Calvary Christian Center. The Church is growing tremendously and I appreciate the open door that I have there. I preached a sermon entitled “Why Do I Go To Church?” It was a good chance for me to teach and preach, or as my mentor Jack Dehart calls it, "Treaching."

I am preparing to go to Eastern Europe for 15 days, leaving on May 29th from Dallas/Fort Worth International airport. Bishop David Fuller, Stan Wachtstetter, Gregg Harris, and myself will land in Prague, Czech Republic, and minister in Hradec Kralove for two days and then catch a train to Izmail, Ukraine (former Russia), and minister there for several days also. We will then take a train to Poland to minister for our third time all over Poland. I am very excited about this trip, and the souls we will be blessed
to reach!

God has really blessed our ministry over the last two years since I again started full time ministry. I am supposed to minister this year in Liberia, Philippines, England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and other places. We have invitations from many African nations to come and to preach.

Now I come to the subject I like least: I must share the vital need for finances before I close this issue of my Newsletter. Perhaps you already know that my international travels are not paid for by the host nations because most of them are severely economically handicapped. I must depend on support from fellow Christians in America. There are two ways you can help with financial support. First, you can give designated gifts towards specific trips announced in this Newsletter. Send in your support to the address below, stating the trip name. A second way to support our worldwide outreach, and the most important financial support for us, is your donations toward our basic monthly ministry support. I will travel and preach the Word to strengthen churches around the world, but I need your help in financing this outreach. For nearly 30 years I have preached and worked in public employment also. That approach limits me to serve as a local minister, only traveling within a small area.

God has called me, and opened the door for me to minister, to far away lands so I can no longer work a regular job and travel also. I sincerely ask you to consider taking me on as an Evangelist / Missionary, by sending your monthly contribution. God has taken care of me and my family but the need now has changed from local to worldwide, requiring much greater financial support for travel, lodging, and meals. I also often preach in smaller churches that do not have the money to host an Evangelist. The regular monthly support would help me go to such places without concern for
local offerings -- my family has to live and pay expenses just like everyone else. In the past two years God has met our every need while I have been out performing the
ministry to which He has called me – but this request offers you the opportunity to be blessed greatly by sharing in this international ministry! We are all called to perform the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19! As you help us fulfill this commission, with your financial support, YOU go with us in ministry!
